You too shall meet your day of tenoning

After all that hard work chopping mortises, my sense of accomplishment quickly faded as I thought ahead to all the matching tenons I would now have to cut.  So to make things a bit more interesting, I decided to do a little tenon-off between hand tools and power tools.  My last project, the shaker end table, was done all with hand tools and I was very happy with the quality of the joinery.  I figured if I could match that quality with this piece without sacrificing a big difference in the time it took to cut the tenons, well why the heck not.  In this episode I demonstrate a few different ways of cutting tenons, and go head to head with the results and compare quality and speed.  The results might surprise you...
