This is it folks, the final episode on the step stool project. This episode covers the final sanding and shaping, my process for wedging the tenons, and the final assembly and finish. Because of all the concave contours on this piece, it was very difficult to rely too much on power sanding, so I had to resort to a lot of elbow grease and a cloud of dust on this one.
Next week, I plan to start releasing episodes that feature the new Festool Domino XL - a beast of a joinery system. So stay tuned for how I used the Domino to build an entire table in a single day.
