Cherry Jewelry Box - Week One

I've gotten a good amount of progress done on a new cherry jewelry box. For this project I wanted to place particular emphasis on lumber selection, grain matching, sound design strategy, and some hand tool techniques. I know, that sounds like a lot, but I will have a good amount of content to get out over the next few weeks. Week one is all about choosing lumber, and laying out the components.

sorry rob - just getting caught up on your projects.

nice idea, labeling the cut-offs so you know which board they came from.
