At long last

Week nine finally saw the completion of the bench. This video walks through the construction of the tool trays, and then final planing and finishing of the bench. Following this video, I will do a live broadcast tomorrow (Tuesday December 23, 2008) at 1:00 PM EST for the final "launch" event. I will do a demo of the various features of the bench, discuss tools I used through the process, and then do a live Q&A. You can join in one of two ways: directly through ustream or by selecting my shop camera feed (The Bois Shop) in the dropdown at the Wood Whisperer chat room. I will be fielding questions from both chat options. I will also record the demo and also post that on the blog after the fact. Thanks to everyone for their support, and enjoy the last video.

Rob: Nice video.

i'm gonna see if I can make it there, Santa hasn't Wraped the Presents yet, so they have to be done first...

Got 1 Question, I know you can use Music, how and where did you find the Intro music and the ending music, does CLPD Have it inbeded? or did you download it and use it?

I like the Effect at the last of the video, Bronze i think it is, that was cool.

Excellent job. I have enjoyed watching you construct your bench. I am building one this winter.

I also like your plane cabinet. That is my first project once I finish my bench.

Rob,

Dang it I have to work tomorrow. I'll see if I can't subtly log on to TWW from work and keep one eye tuned in for the launch. Glad you are recording it though. Looks great and I enjoyed every minute of the build. I am curious to see how much longer it took to build and film the whole thing instead of just building it.

Handi, I just added my own clips for music, you can import any MP3's (don't tell the RIAA or I'll get in trouble).

Shannon, ironically the taping didn't detract much from the project time, but the editing definitely cost me some shop time. I'd subtract probably two full weekends just for that!

Rob: Cool, I knew you could import to do Music over and all, but I didn't know if you had to use what they had for Say the DVD Menus and all that other stuff... I'm Slowing learning how to use it...

Shannon: Don't feel bad, I just relized today wsa the 24th and not the 23rd cause i was gonna be there to see the live cast and all and apparently the days got away from me faster then I can catch up with them.

David, I hope you enjoy. I actually have not gone back and watched some of these earlier videos - I may have to do so just to chuckle at myself :)
